I hated Sofia from the start. Anyone who'd worked with Ecklie for so long couldn't be trusted! And when she said she wanted to leave the lab.... oh, please. She was obviously bluffing in order to get a reaction from Grissom. At least Sara had the guts to go and fill a leave of absence form! Also, I didn't like the attention she received. Too many lines were wasted on her on season 5! 7  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

Funny, how you posted these nasty (and, in my opinion, invalid) comments anonymously. If you're going to trash someone (whether she be a character or a real life person), the least you could do is avoid doing so anonymously.

It's a shame that you obviously never gave Sofia a chance, if you hated her from the start. So what if she worked for Ecklie? Big whoop! You know what? Now Grissom and his team work for Ecklie, given the fact that he is the assistant director. Secondly: a person's employer has nothing to do with that person's character. Ecklie is a creep. I'll give you that. But that does not make his employees creeps. Do you find this valuable?

Sofia is sweet-natured, intelligent, beautiful, likable, respectable and respectful. She didn't throw a hissy fit when she was demoted and transferred to Grissom's team. She was disappointed, but she accepted it and she made it work for her. She didn't throw a temper tantrum, which is exactly what Sara would have done. Evidence: Sara threw a hissy fit when Grissom failed to remember that she was a vegetarian, resulting in her threatening to leave C.S.I. The only reason she remained with the L.V. lab was because Grissom bribed her. Frankly, what Sara did did not require "guts." It was selfish, thoughtless, petty, and mean-spirited; it was her way of punishing Grissom for not paying enough attention to her. It revealed the fact that she had the maturity of a 5 year old.

Here's my theory. I may be wrong. But that's why they call it a theory.

My theory is this: you are yet another rabid GSR fan, who feels threatened by the fact that Sofia dared to express interest in Grissom. Do you find this valuable?
