Does anybody know what William Petersen been up to since.......

his play finished it's run, a long time ago. I haven't seen anything about him, well current news only, on the web and other websites. There were those interviews in Europe about maybe a CSI movie and maybe doing a Grissom/Sara episode in Paris but that's about it. Reason I asked is because I went on to the William Petersen Appreciation site and they posted a notice saying do to a lot of e-mails they'ld been receiving they had to reminded site members that they do not respond to questions about his personal life. Which made me think somethings up; been to all the site I could think of and nothing. Do you find this valuable? |

You know what you have a point, we haven't heard anything about him for awhile. He did a few interviews over the summer, and that's all we've heard. But that' skind of what happened when Jorja left the show, nobody had any updated on her for awhile too. Maybe he's just taking a break from anything.

Well, I found this on Twitter from Gerald McCullouch and guess what he was on the CSI set TODAY. I think he was in NY at some point promoting something. Wasn't much said about it though.

So with him on the CSI set, do you all think he was just visiting, or filming? he's a secretive guy isn't he? I pray he's going to "guest" soon.. PLEASE BILLY~

His daughter had a baby (boy) on August 5 in Idaho. If you go to the Boise Statesman newspaper, under Lifestyles, Celebrations, the birth was announced on 9/11/09. So maybe he's been visiting in Boise after his play!

PLEASE BILLY~"HOORAY for him and big thank's for this great news, I thought his daughter and hubby lived in California, but he did live in Boise and maybe they moved up there. Tha't so awesome grandpa Billy. And he doesn't do another play till April, and that's ages away so hopefully ,he'll be returning to CSI as a "special guest" Do you find this valuable? |

I read an artical saying that this season is about bringing the team back together. So maybe he is coming back. I would really love to see him back with the team and with Sara.

Uh, I'd like to know where you got that from. I Seriously doubt anyone would name their son Indigo August. The baby was born at St. Adolphus Hospital and maybe, since they chose a lovely Basque name for their first son, they might choose another for this child. Frankly, who knows, and frankly, I don't think it's any of our business. Mr. Petersen's daughter and family are entitled to their privacy. I can fully understand why WPAP doesn't post anything personal, and I admire their administrator(s) for their position.

My source wishes to remain private as i asked them today if i could add my source to this thread, she declined, but assured me that she is an actual friend of Maite & the baby boys name is in fact right as i posted before, & Maite is aware that this is public knowledge & is okay with it.Good for WPAP, as we also adopt the same sort of policy on my site too & don't post stuff that isn't meant for the public domain! Do you find this valuable? |

Indigo is a cute name, I'll bet he has blue eyes! Or I hope he had blue eyes as he gets older. And I hope they call him "Indy"!!!

names & their meanings;Indigo Referring to a rich, purple-blue color, Indigo can be a name for boys or girls. I think it sounds great for both - exotic with a scent of mystery for the ladies, strong with a dash of verve for the gentlemen August; The boy's name August \a(u)-gu- st\ is pronounced AW-gust. If that's truly the child's name, I kind of feel sorry for him. I grew up in an Italian/Irish community and there were plenty of August(s), Augustus(s) and Augustino(s). We called all of them "Augie." But Indigo? That's going to be a tough "row to hoe." Kids are not very kind.

Kids are not very kind."The parents had their reasons but if they raise him to be proud of who he is and make him feel loved and accepted no one can make him feel small because of his name. In this day and again teacher tend to try and stamp out bullying and name calling before it can harm childrens. Funny I started this thread because I was wonder what was going on with William Petersen but its kind of gotten off track and off topic. The little darling boy is great news for the Petersen family but it not really relavent to my question what has Billy been doing, besides a play, since he's been gone. Do you find this valuable? |

Here an interesting bunch of internet rumor munging. WP is supposed to be appearing on a France talk show. (from WPAP). Then CBS production trucks have been seen near the Sorbonne, where Grissom is teaching and a conseirge(?) at a hotel told someone that yes CSI was shooting in Paris. (from JFO). Maybe the Paris episode are a go. Maybe they're shooting the episode for the next sweep month.
