So Sara gone.....to her Mother in SF??????????????
Nov 22 2007, 9:44 PM EST Okay, here is what we know, she's in SF visiting her mother, is it her biological or her Foster mother thats one of my question. She has called Grissom, he's knows where she is but is letting her deal with her issues, not the way I would go, if I was him I would have been on the next flight to SF and seen her myself and talked her into letting him help her or at least letting him be with her during her struggle, but ................the crew sort of dances around the subject all eveing and Grissom does what he always does work, work and more work. Warrick issues are coming to the surface. 13 out of 17 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: So Sara gone.....to her Mother in SF??????????????
Nov 23 2007, 12:20 PM EST Hi Winnipeg, I got so PO last night-what-Grissom is working? I saw he talk to Sara but you know I think he should go after her like Cath said. Do we know is WP taking time to do a play this year? My hubby suggested that maybe the writers would have Griss go after Sara while WP does his play to explain the absence-but I have to tell you CSI is going down the tubes. I taped the show, watched only the part where Griss spoke of Sara and read my favorite author during the rest. No more on this subject. Have you ever read "Nora Roberts a.k.a J. D. Robb? She has written the "In Death" series, starting with "Naked in Death". It is the story of a NY city Police Homicide Detective in 2058. Anyway, Her name is "Eve Dallas"-very straight arrow & she meets a man named "Roarke". There are 27 of these books & as you read each one-Eve & Roarke both grow. I love them. I just wanted to recommend them as a distraction to you & others. Great writing!!!!!!!! Gotta go See you around the "Wiki" 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sara needs time to put her life in perspective - she needs time to think about what she wants to do with her life. I am certain that all in good time, Grissom will go after Sara. Its is just a matter of time. When she is ready either she'll tell him, "come to SF" or Griss will call her and tell her he's coming or just Go. Grissom is burying himself in his work because that is the way he is dealing with the issue. if he were to stay at home - he'd go nuts. Things will work out (hopefully) and Griss will head to SF to talk it out with Sara. She loves him, she's not about to let 10+ of infatuation and love go down the toilet, she just needs to be away from LV. (sorry this is so long) :) 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 24 2007, 12:48 PM EST "Hi Winnipeg,Thank for the book recommendation I'll check it out at the local bookstore, will need a lot of reading for when they run out of new episodes. Do you think Sara's at her Biological Mother or her Foster Mothers place? I'm leaning towards her Foster Moms. When she comes back for a guest shot that probably when they'll go the SF. I hope its just GSR for that episode and the really dig into her past and build and strengthen the relationship maybe that's where they'll get married. Here hoping. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. When I was in foster care even though I was very young I was bounced around 3 times in 3 yrs. "She couldnot adapt" what my records say & I was just a baby-less than 3 myself. Anyway, I think that foster care is hard, I do not know if Sara stayed at one place. I guess I will have to try an find more on her backstory. In the "In Death" series "Eve Dallas" was in foster care as well. Maybe that is why I identify so much. I wish I had as strong a character as "Eve" though; I am ordinary person while both "Sara & Eve" are extraordinary. I thin in everyday life we are all ordinary. I will try and writ more tomorrow. We have 2 computers working & 5 people who want to use them. One belongs to my oldest daughter-she does not like anyone but me using it when she is gone-she went shopping-she is 21. Anyway see you around the "Wiki" 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: So Sara gone.....to her Mother in SF??????????????
Nov 24 2007, 8:34 PM EST "Hi Winnipeg,I think she was speaking of the lack of control she felt at being at the mercy of Social Worker whims when she was talking to the nut job Natalie and also she was trying to make a connection with the above mentioned nut job. I remember that Sara talked about a Brother that she accidentally got grounded for life when she found his weed but I alway thought she was an only child. Which makes me think that the brother was a foster brother. I also think that Sara still harbors a major league anger and issues with and towards Bio Mom for not taking the smart way out and just take the daughter and run. Did you notice in her letter to Grissom that she only mentioned her father death and nothing about Bio Mom? That another thing that make me think she went to Foster Mom. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 24 2007, 9:18 PM EST The episode really wasn't that bad! It was really funny, just pointless. At least we know he is actually grieving. Don't worry she'll be back as a guest star. She and one of the producers have confirmed this in interviews. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

We got to see the supporting character come out from their labs and take center stage for a while. The usual crew was there but they were puppets controlled by Hodges; his dream come true being a puppet master. ?Every once and a while the show needs to stop in its tracks and look at other issues and other relationships. This episode looked at the Lab Rats view of what CSI's do and on the burgeoning but abortive relationship between Wendy and Hodges (aka Wedgie..ouch). The ending confused me a little when Hodges said to Grissom "your not ready to leave the Lab......but Sara was" but then I remembered that old saying "If you love someone let them go. If they return it was ment to be. If they don't it wasn't". 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Nov 25 2007, 1:11 PM EST I hated the episode .... HATED IT !!! I can't stand when a serious show go's comical and stupid ,( X-Files used to do that twice a year , it's like I just waisted an hour of my life that i'll never get back when I could have been .... brushing my hair) . Specially after Sara 's departure , I hung in there for the total of 3 minutes combined of CSI worth watching. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: So Sara gone.....to her Mother in SF??????????????
Nov 25 2007, 1:25 PM EST "Hi Winnipeg,I identify with Sara also , never thought about it but may it's becouse I was also in foster care . I went to so many homes that I didn't even bother trying to get to know anybody's name anymore. My two bit's say she went to stay with her bio Mom , but I'm most likly projecting, there isn't one person I lived with or met that I ever want to see again from when I was a foster kid, I don't have any use for my bio family eather for that matter. Sara was a totally positive role model and now she's gone .... I completly felt her pain in the letter she left for Gil , the not wanting to self destruct in front of him , the dealing with ghosts , everything except the feeling of love and feeling like I was home . Now I don't even have that to look forward to , living through the character and things working out. How pathetic am I 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: So Sara gone.....to her Mother in SF??????????????
Nov 26 2007, 5:36 PM EST Definatly her Bio Mom, I just finnished watching "Nesting Dolls" the one where the creapy guy buys his wife from a beauty salon/ Wife importer , the creepy guy beat the 1st wife to death. This is also the one where Sara tells off Cathrine and Eckly then gets suspended for a week. Eckly wants Grisson to Fire Sara (Cathrine supports this , another reason that her charicter isn't my fav. but anyway) . Grissom shows up at Sara's place and Sara tells him about her mother killing her father and being arrested and the other kids talking about how she's the freak that her mother stabbed her father to death. When the Foster Mother came to pick her up she said she couldn't let go of her hand , and how that was strange becouse she doesnt know what her name was . So , definatly Bio Mother. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
