She belongs to the killer and was with her the first murder....
  • Who is she? The doll is probably representative of Natalie's younger sister, Chloe.
  • What is her name? Chloe.
  • Is she real? Yes.
  • How old is she? She seemed young, about 6 or 7, maybe?
  • Does she know about the relationship between Sara and Gil? No, but Natalie does.
  • Is she dead or alive? Dead.
  • Is she the child of a family close to the CSI's? No.
Catherine and Grissom visit Natalie's real father, a ventriloquist. His doll represents his dead daughter Chloe. The Doll - CSI

Leading Theories: (add on!)
- She represents the first victim, Ernie Dell's wife, for who's death the killer, one of the foster kids, is taking revenge for.
- She is Holly, and the killer wants revenge (Gill?).
- She represents someone the killer had a close relationship with.
- She is the last victim intended.
- She represents the killer's jealousy (green eye) -> aka. the attention on her sister as a child compared to her.
- She is a representation of a broken childhood.
- She is an abuse victim.
- She is a threat to all victims and is controlled by the miniature killer woman.

- She ties all the victims together. Reason unknown.
- She could have something to do with Bleach (the connecting clue of all miniatures).
- She represents the killer himself, and maybe what he went through as a child.
- She represents the killer herself, and maybe what she went through as a child.
- It (doll gender unknown) represents a hard, sad, depressing, suicidal, "death filled" childhood.
- She (the doll) is the killer's protector, has been their entire life. It was the one abused, not the child them self. (Or in the child's mind it was the doll).
- She (the doll) was, and still is the killer's escape goat, so to speak. When the child did something wrong, it was not really him/her that did it, it was the doll. (Again in the child's mind).
- She (the doll) represents an alter ego brought on by years of disassociating in order to live through the abuse they sustained, watched, or both.
- The Doll represent somebody that the CSI's knew for years...
- The doll represents someone the killer saw killed when they were younger or possibly their own child.
- She represents the first victim that the CSI's don't even know about yet.
- The doll originally belonged to one of the CSI's.
- Not really a theory but the doll looks to have a slight smile, so maybe the killer thinks they are doing all this to make someone happy.
- The doll represents a prominent figure in the killer's life, such as a parent or teacher. This person most likely abused the killer through out childhood. The killer is practicing, building his skills, then he will strike for the final, most important kill.
- The doll (whatever gender) continually comes back, only to be killed in every depiction. Possibly a representation that the killer either suffered from continual abuse or is set on bringing continual abuse to others; More signs of his mockery.
- With the "perfect" idea of a child being "blonde hair, blue eyes", this one is "blonde hair, green eyes", signifying near perfect but not quite. It shows that the killer is still perfecting their "art".

Additional Theories:
It is quite obvious to me who the miniauture killer may be. The clues are out there for all to see. How soon we forget former Lieutenant Jane Gribbs, mother of Holly Gribbs. Her only daughter murdered in the line of duty on her 1st night. Grissom admitted in the pilot episode 7 years back, that not only Warrick was responsible for Holly’s premature murder, but the entire CSI team. Woman serial killers come in many fashions, revenge for a murdered daughter fits this bill against Bill Petersen and staff. What makes the revenge serial killer different is that Jane Gribbs is driven by a deeper, more overwhelming anger, bordering upon the pathological, with little or no cooling-off period, implying a certain kind of obsessive attachment to the darker qualities of revenge that goes beyond what we normally mean by "motivated by revenge". The typical pattern is about 3-4 victims over an average period of 2 years or less, which corresponds to the time lines introduced by our sympathetic mom, who feels guilty herself for pushing her little girl into CSI. No winners here, just remembrances of Holly as they layed her into her final resting place. . . Food for thought! Why does Holly Gribbs, who was murdered 7 seasons ago, have 14 Avatars still on the character dossier page? More than some of the regular cast members.

Okay i have been thinking ... they say the next victim is someone we know ... also they say that they have been hinting about the killer since the first miniature episode ... the killer is also someone we some what know ... most people think it is a CSI i don't ... the doll has a green eye ... IS THE DOLL REPRESENTING THE LAST VICTIM THE KILLER HAS PLANED?? ... OR DOES THE DOLL REPRESENT THE KILLER??? ... IS THE KILLER GOT EACH VICTIM PLANNED AND THEN ONCE CSI GETS CLOSE TO FIGURING OUT WHO THE KILLER IS WILL THE KILLER COMMITTED SUICIDE??? ... IF SO DOES THE KILLER ALREADY HAVE A MINIATURE BUILT OF THEIR OWN DEATH SCENE???

WHAT IF THE KILLER SAW SOMEONE THEY LOVE DIE AND THE DOLL REPRESENTS THEM AND THEY WANT REVENGE

ZippyDoll- Speaking in the mind of Grissom, everything must represent something. China's head upon the wall in the last episode represented that the beast had been slain, for example. The doll must represent something, as well. Maybe the point of view by the killer, in my opinion.
Perhaps the way the doll is posed signifies the killer's point of view about the world. As many have pointed out, one eye is closed, while the other is not. Had anyone noticed that the doll is always laying on its side, and on that same side is the bloody wound?
My theory is that it's on its side to show how they feel about the world and the people in it: You show what people want to see (the closed eye and normal half-body), to hide what you really are inside (open eye, bloody wound). When you look directly down at the doll, what do you see? The normal side; the side that shows what people want to see. The other, hidden side, however, shows the truth.
People see this person as a normal human-being, living an everyday life. But it's what you don't see that matters.
The other side; the side you CAN'T see, is the true being of the killer: an abused soul, aware of everything on the world. The pictures show both sides, to show that even when someone appears normal, looks can be deceiving.
As for the bleach? I believe that when they were a child, their parent(s) abused them, and they couldn't take it anymore. They killed them with poison, or the bleach. Then acted as the innocent child whom had just lost their parents to a grave misfortune. Perhaps they are a janitor, let's say. They clean up messes, that's their job. But when they go to clean it, the bleach appears, and taunts them with memories of their crime. The motives?
Dizzy- Housekeeper, worked with bleach before killing them.
Penny- Again, housekeeper. It said in one message recording that they were fired for a crappy job. Maybe they got mad and lost it, for they had to work with the very thing that they used for murder.
Chicken Guy (Forgot Name. >.>)- Perhaps a new-found lover. But when discovering what a sleaze-bag he was, after discovering the bleach in the chicken place, well... y'know.
Doctor- Once again, housekeeper. Didn't use bleach, but somehow discovered it in the flowers' vases.
Also, anyone else notice that the murders are in a gender order? Male-Female-Male-Female.... Maybe in addition to the bleach incident, perhaps she went insane and thought these people were her parents. (A little out there) She thought they had come back to abuse her again, and she took care of it. What might they had in common?
Males-Father: Short beards, tall, kinda old
Females-Mother: A tiny bit elderly, maybe had mental problems.
Whatever the reason, the killer lost it. Ernie Dell, her foster dad, thought she was the one thing he did right.
