Her Good-Bye Letter
Gil,
You know I love you. I feel I've loved you forever.
Lately I haven't been feeling very well. Truth be told, I'm tired.
Out in the desert, under that car that night, I realised something and I haven't been able to shake it.
Since my father died, I spent almost my entire life with ghosts. We've been like close friends and out there in the desert, it occured to me, that it was time for me to bury them. I can't do that here.
I'm so sorry.
No matter how hard I try to fight it off, I'm left with a feeling that, I have to go. I have no idea where I'm going, but I know I have to do this. If I don't, I'm afraid I'll self-destruct, and worse, you'll be there to see it happen. Be safe.
Know that I tried very hard to stay. Know that you are my one and only. I will miss you with every beat of my heart. Our life together was the only home I've ever really had. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I love you...I always will.

I think it was so sad! Sarah and gil just got togther and now they are no more. Its just not the same, and I know so many have said the same thing already, but its just not right, sarah and Gil belong together!!

I'm soooooooo completely devastated. I just rediscovered my CSI + GSR fanaticism and now she's gone! I absolutely cannot believe that Jorja Fox would be so completely selfish. I have never been so upset with an actress or actor in my entire life. She says she'll come back to the show eventually, so why couldn't she just guest, like, one time in this season. I mean, she left so abruptly, and I seriously think that it was cruel of the CBS execs. to let her leave him with such a broken heart. I can deal with a tragic death in a romance, but not with this. I want her back now for good, or I want Grissom to leave for her. PLEASE writers, give us SOMETHING!!!

It was like watching a friend you've never met disappear, possibly never to be found again. Sara had made Gris happy, he made her happy...watching her leave, it was heartbreaking when she read the letter out loud, watching Gris's facial expressions and to see Sara cry.
They were the couple that made the show have a happy side. Grissom with never be the same now, and in every new episode, you can see his pain in every thing he does.
