2x01 | Burked
  • Mandy reacts strongly to the pressure the CSIs put on her when she is overworked.

  • When Eric Szmanda and William Peterson were filming the scene in which Greg tells Grissom another way to take heroin, Eric had a friend that died in a car-crash that day but he still came in and did the scene. (According to the DVD commentary).

2x02 | Chaos Theory

2x03 | Overload

  • Gil Grissom's pulse is normally seventy. It can get up to 95 when he gets mad.

2x07 | Caged
  • Gil Grissom likes Shakespeare. Hamlet is his favorite tragedy.
  • It is hinted at that Gil Grissom also has Asperger's Syndrome, (a form of autism), although his is considerably milder than Aaron Pratt's. This makes Grissom fixation with insects (which led him to study entomology) and his solitary lifestyle easier to understand.
  • Greg Sanders attended Stanford University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

2x08 | Slaves of Las Vegas

  • Gil Grissom says hit outlets are studying bugs and riding roller coasters.
  • Gil Grissom says his sex life doesn't involve going to the theater.
