5x01 | Viva Las Vegas

  • Warrick Brown gave a presentation on longitudinal striations of the toenail at the A.A.F.S. (American Academy of Forensic Sciences) in Dallas.
  • Warrick Brown and Nick Stokes bet on whether Chandra Moore will stay. Warrick loses.
  • Warrick Brown says he doesn't play games (gamble at the casino) anymore.
  • Chandra Moore is a fan of Gil Grissom.
  • David Hodges thinks Chandra Moore is cute.
  • Greg Sanders fails his final proficiency, but Gil Grissom gives him another chance.
  • Greg Sanders finds a replacement for him in the lab in Chandra Moore, but she quits on her first day.
  • Sara Sidle visited a P.E.A.P. (Police Employees' Assistance Program) Counselor, who suggested she'd talk to her supervisor.
  • Sara Sidle says she doesn't have a drinking problem. Instead she has a 'her' problem.
  • Sara Sidle knows how to make the Vulcan hand sign.
  • Detective Travis worked in LAPD homicide.
  • Catherine Willows is not happy about her new office. She says it's a cupboard.

5x02 | Down the Drain

  • Sara Sidle goes against Warrick's warnings of pipe bombs just to get some evidence.
  • Gil Grissom tells Sara that he's not worried about her, he's concerned.
  • Greg Sanders attends his first autopsy.
  • Catherine Willows and Warrick Brown nearly kiss.
  • Catherine Willows was told by the city to rip up her lawn and replace it with rocks, she was paid a dollar per square foot.

5x03 | Harvest

  • Warrick Brown has a running bet on how long the new DNA tech will last.
  • Warrick Brown's score at the shooting range was 225/300.
  • Nick Stokes failed the firearms test at the shooting range. He is told by Grissom to stay out of the field until he is qualified with a weapon again.
  • Nick Stokes get 260/300 at the shooting range.
  • Gil Grissom reckons that Sara was probably a pretty smart seventh grader.

5x04 | Crow's Feet

  • Nick Stokes attends the gym.

5x05 | Swap Meet

  • Catherine Willows wants the day shift supervisor position.

  • Sofia Curtis glued Grissom's bow tie.
  • Sofia Curtis lives in a condo.
  • Sofia Curtis wears her hair up in the lab and down off duty.

5x08 | Ch-Ch-Changes

  • Gil Grissom quotes Peanuts, 'I like humanity; it's people I can't stand'.
  • Greg Sanders says that he really likes having a penis.

5x09 | Mea Culpa

  • As the lab's Quality Control Officer, Sofia Curtis has to investigate Gil Grissom.
  • Sofia Curtis is demoted for not finding Grissom has done anything wrong.
  • Sofia Curtis was acting supervisor of the day shift.
  • Gil Grissom considers Sofia Curtis a detail-oriented person.
  • Conrad Ecklie thinks Gil Grissom and Sofia Curtis suit each other.

5x10 | No Humans Involved

  • Sofia Curtis misses being trusted.
  • Sofia Curtis thinks Warrick Brown is pretty hot.

5x11 | Who Shot Sherlock?

  • Greg Sanders passes his final proficiency.

5x12 | Snakes

  • Sara Sidle has her post PEAP counseling session with Grissom.

5x13 | Nesting Dolls

  • Sara Sidle gets suspended after being insubordinate towards Catherine and Ecklie.
  • Sara Sidle claims Catherine lets her sexuality cloud her judgement.
  • Sara Sidle's mother killed her father.
  • Sara Sidle tell Grissom that she has a problem with authority, is attracted to emotionally unavailable men and is self destructive.

  • Grissom Holds Sara's hand as she cries.

5x14 | Unbearable

  • Greg Sanders states that if you add up every cent he had ever made in his life, he still wouldn't be able to afford half a Bentley.
  • Sofia Curtis tells Brass that she has ridden face-to-face on a Harley before.
  • Sofia Curtis says that she has been to Greg's apartment.
  • Gil Grissom asks Sofia out to dinner in hope of making her stay.

5x15 | King Baby

  • Sofia Curtis decides to stay at the crime lab.
  • Gil Grissom tells Catherine that he missed working with her, he missed her passion and tenacity but most of all, he missed her tush.

5x16 | Big Middle

  • Gil Grissom is accused of being a 'gay guy'.
  • Gil Grissom is told that he has everything to please a woman.
  • Greg Sanders tell Grissom and Sara that he has had a dream exactly like the experiment they were participating in except Grissom wasn't watching, that was a different dream.
  • Catherine Willows tells Warrick that she grew up in North Carolina.

5x17 | Compulsion

  • Sara Sidle thinks geeks should be revered.
  • Gil Grissom tells Hodges that when he sniffed the wad of hair from the drain, it was the first thing that he had done to impress him.

5x18 | Spark of Life

  • Sofia Curtis tells Greg that he shouldn't lose his status as a 'pretty funny guy'.

5x19 | 4 x 4

  • Nick Stokes was 16-17 when he first got drunk.
  • Greg Sanders likes to read the classics when they are about dismembered bodies.
  • Sara Sidle tells Greg that she saw everything when they were in the HAZMAT shower.

5x20 | Hollywood Brass

  • Jim Brass describes Warrick as a vampire, he has to be invited in.

5x21 | Committed

  • Sara Sidle tells Grissom that when her mother killed her father, her mother was taken to a place like this (a mental institution).
  • Sara Sidle says that crazy people make her feel crazy.
  • David Hodges says that he wouldn't bleach his hair, it's so Greg Sanders.

5x22 | Weeping Willows

  • Catherine Willows gets into an argument with Adam Novak (Marg's real life husband, Alan Rosenberg) and it results in her getting hurt.
  • Gil Grissom doesn't go out.

5x23 | Iced

  • Sofia Curtis was on task force leave.
  • Conrad Ecklie is divorced.
  • David Phillips is engaged.

5x24 | Grave Danger Part One

  • Nick Stokes is kidnapped at a staged scene.
  • Nick Stokes and his father have nicknames for each other, Pancho and Cisco.
  • Nick Stokes father is a judge.
  • Catherine Willows goes to her father, Sam Braun for the ransom money.
  • Conrad Ecklie was willing to take the heat if the Sheriff wasn't happy with his tax cut backs to pay for Nick's ransom.

5x25 | Grave Danger Part Two

  • Gil Grissom calls Nick 'Pancho' to gain his attention whilst the team try and get him out of the hole without setting off the pressure activated explosives.
  • Gil Grissom manages to narrow down the location of where Nick was buried by figuring out the type of ants that were 'eating' Nick alive.
  • Catherine Willows is the one who finds Nick buried in the nursery.
