| Backstory: Was born Pauline Paul Millander. Witnesses his father get murdered in their bathtub at age ten, testified in court but the judge ruled the death a suicide. Pauline underwent a sex change operation and emerged as Paul Millander. His sociopathic tendencies emerged and he burned down the records building and was reborn as Judge Douglas Mason. As a judge, he staked out people born on August 17, the same day his father was killed and then murdered them by forcing them to read a suicide script, recording it on a mini-recorder and then shooting them. His extensive knowledge of forensics helped him elude authorities for over a year. He worked in his father's company under the name Paul Millander and using his fathers fingerprints. Finally, he was apprehended by Gil Grissom, but somehow managed to escape and used a fake ID to get past the guards. Once free, he returned to his home and killed his mother before killing himself in the same tub his father was murdered in. Deep Dark Secret: Was once a girl named Pauline before he got a sex change. Trivia: Has the same birthdate as Grissom. Gutsiest move: Walking into the CSI lobby and appearing clearly on the surveillance footage before walking back out. | Character Connections
