| | Why you love her | • Well she is absolutely my favorite. There is something to be said for successfully creating a character who has beauty and the brains.A fairly rare thing to be able to pull of nowadays if you ask me. And I love her backstory as well-being able to get over drug addiction,raise a child basically as single parent and go to school and get the demanding job of being CSI...That takes and incredible amounts of will power and pure strength which truly impressed me.For example lets take "Grave Danger"-she was strong,she kept it together and she never one gave up.
She sometimes wants to better then the rest,well we all sometimes do,don't we?
About her fighting with Sara-as I seemed to notice Sara always starts the fights...And her clothes-just 'cause Sara doesn't dress a little more provocative and doesn't show off her femininity much it doesn't have to mean Cath has to look and act the same way.
She came from what people consider "social trash" and became a respectable woman and I really admire her.She is my role model 'cause she shows you you can become someone and something without losing who you are.

She has gone through so much in her life - her fake father leaving her mother, her best friend being murdered, an abusive husband, being cheated on by countless boyfriends, her daughter almost drowning, and even being verbally abused by someone like Sara. She faces her demons head-on. | • She's tough, she doesn't take crap from anyone and she's smart, sassy and spunky. Despite her past, she beat the odds and got herself a better life. She's determined and driven, the type of girl a schmuck of a man would be afraid of. Ballsy and witty, but beautiful and still so much a girl. Loyal, despite of what people think with the stabbing in the back thing (watch episode Strip Strangler), trustworthy, kick-butt smart and she stands for what she believes in. She's just like any other person trying to live a better life. She's just a normal person with baggage just like the rest.
