Hennepin County Crime Lab
In episode 302, "The Accused is Entitled," Gil Grissom's old mentor, Phillip Gerard, talks with Grissom about working in the Hennepin County Crime Lab.


Grissom met Phillip when they worked together in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Hennepin County's crime lab is known by many working in forensics as one of the best labs in the nation, and was also one of the first labs in the nation to begin using a "mobile crime lab" for on-the-scene evidence processing.
