[WILEY SCHINDLER] 50s, A Smart Badass with a edge. This slick, cool, weathered cowboy mobster and tough con artist runs a casino collectibles company in New Jersey. He's a born salesman who knows all the angles. While visiting Vegas he hits a lucky streak at the blackjack table, cons two rubes into selling him a stash of old casino chips for far less than they're worth, and becomes a suspect in two murders...GUEST STAR. A smart, leader of the pack, this lonely, hurting-for-money guy who works part-time at Barbie's Wooden Nickel Cafe is on an off-the-books construction job with his friend Huston Dobbs when they discover a stash of old casino chips that were supposed to have been destroyed. He and Huston are happy to get a buck apiece for them, unaware that they fetch up to $1,000 on the collectible market. When Huston is found murdered, Bruno disappears, and is discovered cowering in a pit with a gangrenous leg -- the result of a gunshot wound. Bruno swears that Wiley Schindler killed his friend and appears to genuinely mourn the loss...GUEST STAR (2) [BARBIE AUBREY] Mid to Late 30s, Attractive, but exhausted. "A once pretty face now etched with a lifetime of disappointment," she's on her feet all day as the owner, manager and waitress of the Wooden Nickel, a cafe where the murder victim Huston and his friend Bruno occasionally worked part-time. When she hears that Huston has died, she assumes he was driving drunk. Later, Barbie's body is discovered in her mobile home, surrounded by one-dollar casino chips...GUEST STAR (2) [CLAYTON FERRIS] 40s, A officious, nerdy, cowboy wannabe, he is a representative of the Nevada State Gaming Commission. He approaches the CSIs with a weasely, embarrassing request...GUEST STAR (45) [WALTER BARLEY] 40s, A Sad man with a great character face, this small but wiry middle-aged man works as a busboy at his wife Barbie's diner and resents the hell out of her...POSSIBLE GUEST STAR (2) [HUSTON DOBBS] Mid to Late 30s. This lonely, blue-collar, dopey, follower is hurting-for-money and sleeps in his car. He's lost his house and does odd jobs, mainly construction, to make ends meet works part-time at Barbie's Wooden Nickel Cafe. He and his friend Bruno Kirschner discover a stash of old casino chips that were supposed to have been destroyed.
