I like watching CSI New York, I have a question, Gary always seem to put across that he was an Officer in the usmc and one day I was reading an article in the local news paper that Gary has never been in the Military. Why is he trying to put across that he was in the Marines, I don't think it's right to say that you was a Marine and not being one. I was a Marine in Vietnam

It's SINISE, and probably it's the character he portrays, and was in the military as Mac Taylor. NOT Gary the real life guy~

CSI will survive and thrive as long as George Eads continues to play 'Nick Stokes' with his masculine, mature, good looking, believable acting style. But how could ANYONE think Laurence Fishburne could possibly replace William Petersen??? It's not even logical casting, and I'm NOT a racist (Shemar Moore, for instance, is hot, and a good actor), but Fishburne is simply boring, no personality in character or otherwise, just BLAND in trying to play his part. And if I've offended anyone, sorry...but if the CSI creators thought they were wise in casting Fishburne...my God, they must be nuts!

"I agree. They are trying to force us to like him and it's backfiring. " I think that with all the cast changes they thought bringing a star in would be a good idea. But Sara left, Warrick died and was replaced by Riley, who then quit, Grissom then left, was replaced by Ray, which has had both a positive and negative response, and now Sara's back for a while. Cath, Nick and Greg are stuck in the middle of all this and the lab rats are still getting ignored, and I'm left all confused and frustrated. Then they force the attention upon Ray, making the crossover unrealistic, and even my mum who only watches CSI now and again agrees that Fishburne isn't a good actor for the show. They really just need to slow down enough and realise that Ray isn't the only person who deserves the attention.

Warrick's is probably Redru and Popin' Tags and the whole Gedda storyline, but all through season 7 was a good Warrick season. I think both Griss and Sara were best in season 6
