• Catherine: You didn't have to come.

Gil: I know. I wanted to. In case you need me.

1x03 Crate 'n Burial

• Gil: You any better?

Catherine: What do you mean?

Gil: Your little major-minor blowup about Lindsey not wanting a party.
Catherine: Oh, that. Yeah. I'm just afraid that I'm making her weird, you know?
Gil: No.
Catherine: I work 24/7. I have no time for my friends. My daughter rarely sees me having any fun. And all of a sudden, she doesn't want t party.
Gil: And that's because of you?
Catherine: Yes. I'm her mother. She mimics me.
Gil: Well, then she'll be fine. I mean look at you.

1x04 Pledging Mr. Johnson

• Gil: May I take your hand?
  (Catherine puts her hand in Gil's, he lightly grasps her hand and leads her to the table where the fingerprint kit is located.)
  

• Gil: Look... could we have a truce?

Catherine: I would love to.
Gil: Good.
(Gil reaches up to help Catherine out of the boat. She bends down to put her hands on his shoulder while he reaches up, putting his hands on her waist. She jumps out of the boat and they keep their hands on each other while Catherine gets her balance. She turns and Gil leads her out of the room, his hand remaining on her back.)

1x06 Who Are You?

• Catherine: So I saw Eddie. He actually... seemed scared.

Gil: Did that make you happy?
Catherine: Um... no. I'm not really sure what I... feel.
Gil: You're not still in love with Eddie? (She sighs.) Catherine, you have to hand off the case. Warrick can just double up.

1x08 Anonymous

• Gil: Catherine Willows, Disco Placid.

Catherine: A pleasure.
Disco: A pleasure.
(Gil looks back and forth between Disco Placid and Catherine, the former showing hints of jealousy as he noticed the exchange of looks between the two.)

This is also the first time that we see Catherine perched on Gil's desk, and it will not be the last.

1x09 Unfriendly Skies

• Gil: I need their shoes.

Catherine: Why you telling me?
Gil: Because you're the 'people' person, right?
Catherine: Well, why don't you tell them that? They're not giving me bupkus.
Gil: Please?
(Catherine looks up at Gil and stares at his puppy-dog eyes. She gives in to his charms and gets up off of the empty office chair. She passes him on her way out the door and hands him her bag of chips.)

1x11 I-15 Murders

• Catherine: You know how you're always pushing that holy trinity stuff?

Gil: Father, son, holy ghost?
Catherine: Victim, suspect, crime scene.
Gil: That one, huh?

1x14 To Halve and to Hold

• Gil: It could have been a hiker who got lost. It's interesting to me how you always expect the worst.

Catherine: You see, that way, I'm never disappointed. You know, sometimes I'm nicely surprised. So, can we call it a crime scene?
Gil: Potential crime scene. Did you know that there's 206 bones in the human body?

Catherine: Yes, professor, I, too, took Osteology.

• Gil: It could be a piece of wrist bone.

Catherine: Well, do you want to suck it... to be sure?

• Catherine: So... you thinking what I'm thinking?

Gil: How amazing the universe is. Everything made from the same carbon -- stars to trees, trucks to human bones.
Catherine: Mmm... no. I... I was thinking that we have about 100 bone fragments. We could I.D. this body before the end of the shift.
Gil: Hmm.
Catherine: Stars and trucks?

• Greg: I thought you and Grissom were tight.

Catherine: We are.
Greg: Okay. Got it. Private.

• Catherine: What's with the smile?

Gil: It's playing our song.

• Catherine: Now what?

• Catheinre: All in a day's work.

Gil: Yeah... You up for dinner?

4x12 Butterflied

• Gil: My knees can't take this anymore.

Catherine: Have you eaten anything?
Gil: What did you bring?
Catherine: I'll see what's in the fridge.
Gil: We have to replace that you know.
Catherine: Feel better? (She sits down at the table across from Grissom.)
Catherine: Well now that we fed you we should probably talk about a shower.
(He looks at her.)
Catherine: I mean, at your place... You need to go home.
Gil: As soon as we find some evidence, I promise.
Catherine: With fresh eyes you wont miss it.
Gil: Just talk it through with me, will ya? What do we know? Catherine: All right. Bathroom is where things got started. Candles, oils...she's taken a shower... cleaned up oiled up.. sexed up.
(Gil dips his finger in the peanut butter and sticks it in his mouth.)
Gil: Let's go back to the bedroom.

• Gil: Hey Cath? Got silk?

Catherine: Why yes I do.

4x15 Early Rollout

• Catherine: I ... write this down: I haven't had sex in six -- no -- seven months.

Gil: How can I help?(Catherine stares at Gil in shock, her eyes wide open.)
Gil: You... advance, I mean.

• Catherine: Oh ... you're still here. Uh ... So I'm leaving. Need anything?

Gil: No, I'm good.
Catherine: Are we good?
Gil: We'll be fine. Catherine: Okay. I'll see you tomorrow. Gil: Going out? Catherine: I've got some unfinished business to take care of. I'll see you.
(She turns and leaves as Gil looks longingly at her... biting his glasses as he watches her go.)

Season 5

5x07 Formalities

• Catherine: What are you doing?

Gil: (frustrated) I'm going insane. I don't understand this diagram.
Catherine: (sighs and shakes her head) You don't need a diagram.
(Grissom starts fiddling with his tie again.)
Catherine: You need a woman.
(From behind, Catherine takes over and ties Grissom's tie for him.)

• Catherine: Any change this was accidental?"

(Refering to the dead cope whose COD was drowning.)
Doc: When was the last time you took a nap in Grissom's tub?
(Catherine turns to look at him with surprise in her expression, then she smiles shyly.)

7x10 Loco Motives

• Gil: Catherine, do you need a moment?

(When Catherine can't stop giggling at the sight of the man stuck in hardened concrete.)

7x15 Law of Gravity

• Gil(Gil comes running up to Catherine who is standing by the ambulance as the paramedics try to resuscitate Liev Schreiber. When they fail, and Catherine dissolves into tears, she turns briefly towards Gil who looks from the scene before him to Catherine. He seems puzzled, but quickly catches on, reaches out instinctively, wraps an arm around her, turns her around and, still holding her to him, walks her away from the scene.scene.)
