THe only relationship I can see Brass having with any of the other characters is a fatherly type relationship because anything else would just seem too weird

I just honestly do not see anything between Brass and Sofia. I always thought that Sofia either liked Greg or Nick. At one time I also thought she had a thing for Grissom, but it made me mad because I love Sara and well, Grissom is Sara's man!

You know, I still like Jim and Cath together but I've been becoming more and more obsessed with idea of Jim and Sofia getting together. I have to say this may very well become my primary ship. I just wish they would work together more.
