If he get's anymore depressed he's going to be in serious need of Prozac and a shrink (Not LH though). I'm seriously worried that we won't get a GSR reunion when he leaves. I sometimes wonder if the crew thinks he's invincible. Therefore if anything devestatingly bad happens he just digests it, learns from it and moves on. Don't they ever catch on that he's in pain and needs to be comforted? Even Hank didn't look so good.

What we need is an ending along the lines of Kristen Elizabeth's Fanfic. "The assent of Man". Something like that would leave it open for them to come back in later episodes, seasons, perhaps in a professional capacity, or just to visit old friends and colleagues....
That way we could all move on and continue to watch CSI knowing GSR could never die!.......
