How come only Sara and Gil get to be happy. It's been a tough season for Cath, she is a strong woman but is a failure when it comes to love, at the previous season she lost her husband, get cheated by a boyfriend and was surprised by the sudden marriage of Warrick, now she lost Sam and Keppler, she needs to have somebody like Gil to end up with because he is surely a serious person who won't fool her and leave her but would love her.

i had never seen this episode before now! this is one of the saddest episodes i have seen o CSI... the beginning of the episode was kinda confusing but you get the point, he killed that man because he thought he was raping amy, but it wasnt him and when he found out who really did it, her father, keppler whent after him, he set a trap for him.
at the end when he was shot saving that girl i thought it was the saddest thing! and then he managed to save catherine as he was dying and the look on her face when they were trying to resuscitate keppler was just heartbreaking! i dont think it was a GCR moment, i think it was jut Grissom trying to comfort Catherine...
i think Keppler and Catherine would have made a great couple, they really cared for each other, it was really depressing when he died ='(

It really sucks that he got shot. I wanted him and Cath to be together. If all this bad stuff keeps happening to her, she's going to end up a lonely old cat lady. She deserves way better !
