Synopsis: After an exhaustive day, Catherine stops by a bar where she has a fling with another customer. As she is leaving, he gives her his number on the bar's match box. Later on that night, Grissom calls in for a favor as he is short on staff. A woman was murdered. Prior to her death, she was seen with the same man who was hitting on Catherine in the same bar. A similar match box with a phone number inside, found on the victim, further points to this man as the main suspect.

This episode starts off with Catherine at a bar, she met this guy she likes ( Adam Novak) Catherine claimed she had to go, so Novak offers her a ride,Catherine says she has her car, So Novak offers to walk he to her car Catherine pulls away in the middle of the two making out,says she can't do that and had to go so when Catherine was opening her car door Novak pushed her face into it, leaving a scratch wich Catherine attempt to hide the whole episode.At the break of dawn Catherine gets a call from capt. Brass to come to a crime scene where a girl was assulted the murdered with her jacket covering her face.( Killer was her stalker ex!)
