CONTINUALLY UNDER CONTRUCTION --IMPROVEMENTS ARE ONGOING--THANK YOU, MATHGAL ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Fan Fiction:
Grissom and Sara analyze the Fast National Data Ratings of the CSI Season Seven Premier “Built to Kill, Part I,” airdate September 21, 2006. (Parody-Satire/Romance)
Truth be told, MathGal hasn't done Math in decades. I have a couple of Math degrees, however, and "TV Gal" was already taken by zap2it.com's Amy Amatangelo (props to you, A-squared).
I like watching high quality TV and investing in DVDs of my favorite shows (love that Blu Ray!) rather than going out to see motion pictures (although I do have some favorite movies on DVD).
My favorite TV shows include but are not limited to (these are in no particular order): CSI (Las Vegas); LOST; Damages; The Shield; Nip/Tuck; Boston Legal; Star Trek (the original series); The Streets of San Francisco; Nash Bridges; and Seinfeld.
Though my real life is far from exciting, I have a wonderful hubby of 17 years and two great kiddos. I am truly blessed.
Formal Version:
Back in the Day (shortly after the disappearance of Las Vegas' Mickey Dunn), MathGal began college as a Music major.
After taking a Physical Science course (a general education requirement), she realized that she very much liked the subject of Science and wanted to take more such classes. The Science courses had Math prerequisites, however, and it was during those studies that she discovered her love of Math.
It's been nearly twenty-five years since MathGal's resulting alphabet soup [Music (AA), Physics Minor, Math (BA,MA)]; in fact, she has not cracked a college level Math text since that time. The Math just can't be taken out of the Gal that easily, though. Whether it's helping her kids with their homework, Sudokus, crosswords, etc., she continues to love solving problems of all kinds. Therefore, it's no surprise that she loves Crime Dramas, CSI most of all. She is impressed with every aspect of its production, and especially loves the subtle, romantic backstory with all its own delightful clues.

I hardly get on anymore. And that's great! I am looking into colleges. I have two years left of high school, and my occupation of choice may change by then, but that's alright, if it doesn't, I'm one step ahead. Mine is very CSI-ish. I want to do Forensics. I took a class for it over the summer at a local community college, and it was so much fun, even if it was only 2 weeks. We got to look at actual murder photos, and suicide photos. There were two teachers. A women, who is a science teacher, and a man who is now a patrol officer, but was once a CSI.
I leanred that, even though I knew, the show is nothing like the real thing. We got to do finger print lifting. So I have my finger prints I lifted. And we did those finger print cards, where they do your whole hand. We also did a mold of our foot. It's like ceramix. I have that as well. And they gave us like crime scence tape, and I have a folder of notes from it. We also did this thing, I can't remember the name at all, but you test liek the ink by dipping it in alchohal and regualr water, and it's very long, and hard to explain. But yeah. I was very interested in it, and I made some awesome friends doing it.
Yes, I am still interested in Ms.Chenoweth. (: I just haven't gotten to read much about her lately. I got the flu again this year. I need to start getting vaccinated for the flu. But, yeah, and then while still sick, but on the up-swing of it, we went to Disney in Florifa, for school, and I got to SING in downtown Disney. And I marched in the Disney parade through magic kingdom. Even if I was just banner carrier. That marching is hard. But yeah, my school led the parade! It was so cool.
How have you been, NOW? (; This is late, Merry Christmas, and Happy New year! MGiRBaTG? - Huh? (Lol.) -xSpedx

That's good to hear! Ours were good as well. Just stayed home & had some with the family.
Oh right on. The one with the old "Chateau Rouge" was really good. I'm gonna miss Grissom, too. CSI is changing but I'm going to continue to watch. I love House. Its a good show as well. Haha so true :)

Thank you! Re GA: most people go ga-ga over doctors, but I just got through taking college Chemistry and Human Anatomy with science (not "medicine") Profs., both of whom were totally great. Unfortunately, our Anatomy LAB instructor was a podiatrist who thought she was god's gift to feet, which was weird...she'd DEFINITELY fit in on GA.
Oh, yeah, and I like Greg, too! He's just so cute! It's been fun watching his character "grow up" on the show while still retaining his sweetness. - MGiRBaTG

I suppose "insane" is rather appropriate, at least in the cyberspace sense! But in my real life I'm just an old, married (17 1/2 years) lady who is mild mannered and somewhat mousy. I'm also the mother of a teenage girl and a pre-teen boy, as you can tell by my pro.
Yeah, there are PLENTY of us WP/GG crushers (of ALL AGES, I think that's neat) around here...this wiki is sort of like group therapy!
